You know this is the "Internet" anyone can be anything they want, but sometimes it's really hard to trust someone who really wants to help you and knows what they are talking about vs. someone who doesnt know anything but still wants to help somehow.
I'm talking about my own experience here.
I bought my first snakehead ever, it was purchased from a supplier that I know and was supposed to be a Channa Stewartii. But after posting pictures of the channa, some people (ex: Brucki and Tokyogasmask) told me that they were not Stewartii but Gachuas. Imagine my reaction, I called my supplier and he told me that they were Stewartiis so what is one suppose to? Believe someone from somewhere in a different country or your local guy?
But after getting some matting and some fry at around 4-5" long, I think that they were both right, they are Gachuas. And my local fish guy was told by his supplier that they were Stewartii so, who's to blame? Personally I dont care because I like my Channa no matter what. Gachuas or Stewartiis Im happy!
All of this to say that everyone is entitle to his or her opinion even if it's not the best of information. Sometimes its better to give personal experience that truly happened and fixed an issue or direct the person to a better source. But we now should know who is the "expert" on this forum, i sure know now.
My 2 Cents.
