Silvers are far more streamlined (bullet-shaped) than any other datnoid species. They are thicker bodied, but not as tall. A thinbar is far more laterally compressed with a higher profile. Also, thinbars always have only three body bars (not including the eye bar and two tail stripes), while silvers typically have a minimum of four full body bars (not including the eye bar, two tail stripes, and the two dots on the caudal peduncle) and occasional partial bars.blacktip;755397; said:At first glance, I instantly thought silver, but the body color in the photos looks more thinbarrish. But based on the spotted tail stripe and the extra partial bars, I believe all those who have said silver are spot on and that the colors are distorted in the photos.
