Dang...black. I would have liked it if it was chrome. But it's not my filter.

I don't really like it either, but it was free. I want to get two rena xp3 to put on my 150g.

I don't recognize the filter. But, replacement cartridges are a scam. You can rinse and reuse them until they fall apart; then replace them with some filter sponge or polyfill.

yup , I got a year old penguin 200 cartridge just rinse it hard under tap water every week or so. Replacing cartridges is just to me. I have never replaced any of the media in my aqua clears except carbon.
