The fish in the video looks a bit differently patterned that a mosambiques though. Wish you could see the bottom half of the body.

That was a legitimate question. I am not very familiar with African riverine cichlids, and the video isn't that clear.

As for the Mossambicus, thats what I originally thought, but then I used to keep some Tangynikae and I thought it reminded me more of them than the mosambique tilapia.
It could also be the gold tilapia (I think latin name is Aureum) or possibly a blue

The shape of the head/mouth, relative size, and red in the dorsal leads me to agree with Oreochromis mozambicus. The colors are those used in camoflage. The near-black color in the example of an O. mozambicus is a specimen in or nearly in spawning dress. I'm not 100%on this. There are so many species we don't often see. But, this one resembles the O. mozambicus I used to keep and spawn. The camo colors are normal for females and non-dominant males.

it says in the video river bream

You can go fishing along any river here in the south, see what is obviously a dozen different species of fish, and everyone will call every fish a 'mudfish'. We're not looking for a local common name here. In fact, in LA, MS, and AL white perch, black crappie, and white crappie are all referred to as bream.
