Where did you see the fish at-like I said if it was from a LFS it is more than likely a low grade FH!

Looks like a Trimac to me. I dont see anything about it that would lead me to believe it was mixed, although a better picture would help.

It was a trade-in, so they don't know the species any more than I do

Unless you know the genetic backgound of the fish, treat it as a low-grade flowerhorn. Don't try to pass off any offspring as trimacs on the off chance that the fish isn't pure.
