His body is more blue then my lighting shows. Also he has the face markings that are fluorescent. Don't know if that helps. I'll try and get a better picture

I'm not sure why you think it is holding. There is no bulge in the buccal cavity at all.

Definitely not an electric blue and it most certainly isn't a female. Female peackocks do not show color.

I hope it's a bi color! they are beautiful fish. I'm thinking his blue is supressed due to my much bigger fryeri. when and if his colors develop i'll post a new pic. thanks for help!
