ID this fish?

Im not sure if this is a pleco or a catfish. It looks like a Raphael Cat, but it got tiny eye, got a little sucker like pleco and their body very soft too. My lfs dont know what it is, because the supplier send them the wrong batch of fish.

What kind of fish are they? rare? common? What they eat? Do they need to be a group? or solo?

Most DEFINITELY NOT a raphael cat. Looks like an Asian HillStream catfish of some sort. Check out this link http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=171

It's kinda hard to tell from those pics, but I think this is close.

WOW!! Internet said there are 23 genera and 85 species of that type of catfish.. now, which one.. hmmmmm...

ty for the name.. ^^

the tail is kinda red.. but i think its infection.. not sure.. :O I hope its not a asian rtc..Dont have room for such a large fish..

they're pretty rare and many species are so similar that it's very difficult to properly identify individual fishes.

ty, I have to switch tank now, they are in a very hot tank (86F) when there max temp is 23F.. :O

they are rare right? my lfs sell it pretty cheap ^^ (cheaper than a common pleco)

more of an uncommon but cheap fish...
They will do much better in the cooler waters.
