Little white buldge comes and goes as it pleases. It's been poping up for about 6 months now. I can never figure out what changes makes it more pronounced. It reminds me of dropsy, only in an isolated location. Tank constant at 84, minimal salt, fish is relatively unaffected whenever it does pop up.

*My apologies for the upside pics! You'll notice the scale elevation on the stomach.

Looks like a worm that crawled under its skin.
Where did you fh come from?

Thailand... could it survive there for this long with no "apparent" ill effect to my FH? Any recommended remedies?

I have no remedies but I think its a type of host if its been there that long. It could be taking nutrients out of your fish , keeping it from reaching its true potential.

Did you treat for worms when you barely got your fish?.I'm asking because I treat with metro on my new fh

It could be anchor worms since u say the fish doesn't seem phased by it.

You might want to search for that to see of you think that is it
