fellow hmong frontosa keeper too eh..Well i would like to help you out but I cant view the picture since I'm at work..but a little advice is..to look at the face mask of the fish..it doesnt matter how blue it may look..the face mask is what tells it all

Beautiful fish, hump looks like burundi, but it's blue, so I'd say congo moba. Whatever the breed, awesome.

livingstoni- ( fish are not a hobby they are my pets) thats funny. fish are not a hobby to me either there my children haha

okay..thats a burundi..by the looks of the stripe coming straight down from the forehead to the jaw..means its a burundi..most burundi's have blue on their fin and sometimes on the head when they are healthy..depending on how much u spent on this fish (no more then $70) it looks to be a healthy, well fed burundi.

gibberosa.

Wow, huge difference lighting makes. BURUNDI.

Just curious guys, one thing i noticed on this burundi and my own burundi , compared to my gibberosa (mpimbwe) in white or natural (sun)light the dorsal on the burundi seem to have a brighter blue edging with a darker grey and greenish/golds coloration in the center of the dorsal fin . The gibberosa i have all seem to have a completely solid blue dorsal fin with none of the greys or greenish/gold coloration . Have you all noticed this as well ? I will also post this question in its own thread so not to hijack this one.
