Umm....because they're going to get eaten and they are poisonous. Do the research.
I knew fish don't eat them because they have that mucus. The turtle is swimming around normally. When I see him starting to chase them I'll take them out. They hide a lot. The turtle hasn't even gone after them. Hopefully he won't. Thanks for telling me though.

I'd remove them before he starts chasing them. Wouldn't wanna risk it dying from trying to eat a poisonous newt

Because its more than a person can or is willing to take care of. Why the "hell" should some one take in pets when they can't properly care for them? It's one thing when they can bu another when they can't/wont.Why the hell would anyone stop taking in pets?
