How you feels that if someone ignored your useful advice?
I dont know the history of Andrews threads, so I could be wrong but all I know is your not helping now.

I have plenty of responsibility. I do what is best for all my animals, to the extent of what I can afford. You know, being a teenager is hard supporting a very expensive hobby.

Neither you are. And I should stop you at that point if you don't know the history of Andrew's threads then you shouldn't say anything at all.I dont know the history of Andrews threads, so I could be wrong but all I know is your not helping now.
if you are struggling financially and time wise to maintain these tanks as is and you are 14-15 i can say from personal experience you are going to be in for a rough ride. If you are planning to take the courses required for acceptance in university and get a job to support the hobby and your college/university fund you are going to be in for a very rude awakening once you hit grade 11/12. The school work is just going to get overwhelming. I am only taking 3 courses and despite that i still have almost 2-4 hours of schoolwork per day, and when there are projects or labs it can get even higher in addition to 8-16 hours of work per week. I used to have 2 tanks with all sorts of awesome expensive fish, a crested gecko, and 2 leopard geckos. In grade 9 i sold the crested gecko to keep up. in grade 10-11 the workload became such that my marks began dropping due to maintenance and as ashamed as i am to admit it i lost almost half a tank due primarily to neglect. so i got rid of the leopard geckos and most of my remaining fish. Now i have a 75 and a 30 gallon with african cichlids and hillstream loaches respectively, and it is still pretty difficult to keep up with maintenace, but it is possible for me. At least twice i've had to strech a 6-7 day water change out to 10-12 days for the 75 due to the time it takes. How you plan to keep up with studies while caring for a 75 full of messy cichlids, a few turtles who in all liklihood are even messier and however many smaller tanks you own is beyond me, not to mention university where you have to study for around 6-8 hours per day and most likely live on a campus. (based o what i've read about you you have a 75, a 10, a 55 with turtles, and now a 3, Please correct me if i'm wrong). If You have to downgrade there is now shame in it, heck it's almost a form of honour in admitting you cannot maintain so many tanks, Fish, turtles, snakes, dogs etc... as pets are our friends, loved ones, and partners first, and a status symbol much later.
Good one buddy, you see im also a teenager (16) while i might be older than you i support my hobbies 100% with my own money. i can count on one hand the number of times my parents have bought me something for my fish. yet i manage to practice responsible fish keeping all of my animals are happy and healthy and in very good condition (i currently have 3 fish tanks and a lizard that are 100% supported by me). if you want to take on more animals but you feel like you don't have the means to keep all of them, stop being lazy and do what i did and get a part-time job or a paper route. then you will have the money which you say is making it hard to care for and keep all of your animals. but even if you did that i still think you would be lacking in responsibility. just my thoughts.
in regards to the newts i agree that they are eastern newts and i think you should put them in your pond because three gallons just isn't enough
I agree about runtis, but mnrebel was Atleast offering advice, like I said before these guys are dads and they have little patience with stuff like this, he's been told before to stop and get more tanks. I can see their frustration as long as their trying to help!
Coming here simply to hate is non productive

Woah I am not a dad. Yes I have stopped giving andrew advice. Yes there was a time when I gave Andrew advice it was actually many times many more that the times I haven't. So you guys naming dropping me over a couple threads saying all I do it bash is very arrogant. I'm am always giving advice to memebers Willing to except it. Look aT other peoples threads I comment on even f1 even supported me and gave me a positive sshout out. Andrew does not take in any advice and ignores everything and Intices flamewars that makes people want to flame. Like I said you guys don't know the story. You know nothing you just come on assuming everything because you see it once it twice. Maybe all of you should question why its the same person Every time. Learn the facts first people. Andrew does not Listen at all look now he says I never eever give him advice well the cats out of the bag I have aattempted many many times just like MN and others but we feel the same about this. I stand by my actions aand what i've assume what you want.
I need to spark up my fish life
You even admit you don't give advice. So do us all a favor and stop commenting on my threads. You know you're only making things worse. There is absolutely no reason for you to comment. You are literally just starting flame wars. I understand you are going to say it's a public forum and all, but from now on when you comment these negative things without any advice at all I will not reply to it. Not even gonna read it, simply going to skip over it. I don't take your advice because on top of you no longer giving any, all you do is bash on me. You are literally just commenting to start stuff. Rebel still gives me advice and he helps me with some things in fish keeping. So I listen to him. Not going to read any more of anyone's flaming or bashing on me. Just simply skipping over it. You guys are members who have been here a long time. You should be reaching out and helping younger members such as me. Instead you find it necessary to continually bash on me. So I'm done with your negativety and I will ignore it from now on. No point in you even commenting anymore, unless you are giving me advice or at least being positive.
