Wes first batch you can already see the "duck bill" forming (f1). Also see the "flag stripping" on the tail. I havent seen a wild bass with that on its tail
The first pictures you can see that the upper lip is now starting to protrude farther then the lower lip. (F6+).
From all the Kelberis I have kept, most has flush lips or the lower lip protrudes. Never the opposite of the lips.

My second Spawn of the so called F1 from 2010 was roughly 1200 Cichla. 60% of them turned out exactly like the parents that had even jaw and a short club like or weak tail. If I had to guess, the parents of the F1s were brother and sister and or not F1or the F1s are siblings. 30% had the typical under bite and stong tail. 10 % had a pinched or flag tail. Alot of these 10 % had a deformed duck mouth. This was origonally brought to my attention by a Dr. in Florida whom I thank and very much appreciate. I never saw this in breeding over 5000 Monoculus.
Over 1000 that look as good or better then F1s... No. wouldnt be a reason.. Ill let you know whats next.
