I bought this fish from Lovethemfish
Personal collection its a very odd fish it's orino mixed with kel but don't know which kind what you think

I dnt know about the red eyes I think it's a temperament thing it come and goes

It may be, love the red eyes as well. It is an awesome kelrino the coloring on him is beautiful

If this indeed has C. Kelberi genes, it should produce anal/pelvic fin spangling at that size. Not a genetics wiz however, if this doesn't happen i'm going to assume it's a recessive allele, and if so imagine the possibilities as far as selective Cichla breeding goes.
 
Infact: For those members who would like to read a very detailed research article on the interspecies hybridization of Cichla, you'll be very entertained.

This study even goes as far as to say there are only 8 separate biological entities that should be recognized rather than the 15 described species of Cichla.
