Just like how no two random people are 100% identical, this goes true with Cichla. However, the characteristics found in similar "ethnicity's" if you will, are used to categorize the population. In this specific case, the hybrid presented doesn't appear to have characteristics of the other hybrid seen. However, I do agree they do look much more C. Piquiti like than actual C. Orinocensis like. But if you notice, in Rjkz's video, there is a presence of anal fin spotting. Which I would like to think is a dominant trait(could be entirely wrong here).
