ID this peacock please

Hi all,

I'm not sure what this is exactly. Alunocara stuartgranti....but what type? Have been looking on a few sites, but can't find any photos of one whic looks like this.

It seems to be a victorian cichlid, possibly haplochromis sp. "rock kribensis" mwanza gulf.

That was my first thought as well!!! Also goes by Sp. 44.

Thanks for the info guys. the LFS told me it was a alunocara stuargranti. It and 4 females are in with my mbuna...they've been ok for the past few months, but now I knoe they're not peacocks, any tips on what I need to do?

Not too much, water parameters are similar to mbuna. They should get along with your mbuna as well. I have mine in with haps and white labs.

Aye I'm not too happy. They're supposed to be experts in cichlid's too!
