That is with out question the Panaque Suttoni, or the Blue Eyed panaque. Max size approx. 18"
These fish are extremely sensitive to water quality changes. It is strongly recommended to avoid any chemicals in the tank if at all possible.

Very Rare, and a very good healthy looking specimen. I wouldn't sell one for under $65.

There is definitely a question as to the positive ID of this panaque. This fish looks similar to a suttoni. But, alot of other panaques do also. This fish has a snout that terminates more sharply than most blue-eyes I've owned and seen. It's darker than most BEs, and it's lacking the intense blue-eyes of a suttoni or the slightly muted blue eyes of the P. cochliodon.

And if you can find true suttonis for $65, I'll take 10. Since their departure from most availability lists, these panaques have been averaging a few hundred bucks each and any put up for auction starts a "feeding frenzy" of bids hitting their auctions.

frankly speaking..looking at the shape of this fish inside the pic..i highly doubt it is a blue eye...most likely L191...in any case..as long as u like it...it's a good fish :)

No matter what is it... It's a nice pleco. If you hadn't picked it up yet, DO IT! I bet you won't regret. Post pics of it in your tank. It should look nicer... ;)

Best regards.

Daniel.
