what...?
i see the link there's freshwater version.....
mine have lived in freshwater with salt for 5 days...., he seems healthy, and ate much....

i also have asked may colleague they told me so, and fish seller even said that mine is freshwater edition :p

Eh? Where on that link does it say there is a freshwater version?

Looks like a case of only reading what you want to see. Look further down:

Habitat

May be found at depths of 1 to 25 meters.

Biome
Brackish water, saltwater. Reef-associated.

Because they're estuarian, it's not uncommon to find them feeding or spawning in FW. However, this is a mainly marine species and would fare better in marine setups.

If he says it you know just do it man it's best for your fish!

OK man!
thanks alot....

sorry for being stubborn.......

but he's doing very well now in freshwater with some salt......

i never plan to have marine fish, i was cheated by the seller back then......

thank you all..... any opinion keeping this fish still much welcomed...

:headbang2brotherhood..... :headbang2

There is nothing in that link that says there is a "FW version". No such fish. This is a marine puffer & will start failing soon. You have been horribly mislead.

So what are your plans now for this fish? I'm afraid if you return him, they will just put him back into FW & sell it again as a FW fish.

i'll do my best to keep him....
he's doing really fine now, with good eating mood....

i've asked other fish sellers, they insisted that this is a freshwater fish.....

You can't keep it in freshwater for an extended period of time, it's definitely not going to do well.

and who ever told you that you can keep it in freshwater obviously doesn't know what they are doing...

What are you presently doing to make his tank marine? Is the tank cycled as totally FW?
