It looks like a king snake. Wild caught or picked up at a store?

Wild-caught Kingsnake in Maldives? That'd be interesting....
Are there native snakes in Maldives? Kings are laregly snake-eaters, so if so make sure it never gets away.
This almost looks like a banded sea-krait (very poisonous) but head isn't right, so looks more like one of the Kings. Start your Google-search there.

^^ duh that is why it was asked.

Thanks for the quick id , and no its not wild caught cos we dont have wild snakes here ... jus imported one from abroad.. so its a king ryt? and its poisonous ??

It is without a doubt a California king snake. Non-VENOMOUS (there is no such thing as a poisonous snake)
And I cannot believe that I am the first to say this.. what the hell are you doing with a snake that you don't even know if it is venomous or not!?
Clearly you have access to the internet... so it really is NOT that hard to do a little research about an animal BEFORE you get it! Even just enough to know what it is!
what makes you think it is ok to just go out and get any random animal you feel like without knowing it's care requirements, and whether it can kill you or not!?
what if it was a sea krait or other deadly venomous animal, what would you do with it then? Something tells me you do NOT have the experience to be working with hots so you would be pretty much SOL.
Maybe next time put just an ounce of thought into your plans before you proceed....

Now that the important part is out of the way....
You lucked out with it being an easy and harmless snake to care for. Cali kings are hardy animals, can be kept in a 20 gallon long tank, with an under tank heater, a water bowl and a hide, fed appropriately sized mice or rats once a week, and thats about all there is to it. Most of them are calm and easy to handle as well.

Probably won't need a heater. If anything, pay attention to dehydration and/or overheating with heaps of clean water as Maldives will be warmer than native range. Bowl should be easily big enough for snake to soak/swim. Might think about a mesh sided enclosure rather than a 5- or 6-sided sided glass tank/box. Cali-King will want a few hours of direct sunlight per day- can overheat in tank if this is happening out-doors, and invites escape if top is open. Be careful of escaping- all snakes are very very very good at this, so leave no gaps and take no chances & make no assumptions.
Also be careful of using (coraline) beach sand as substrate- wrong size can bind in the gut and kill the snake. Go with very fine (nearly power) or pea-gravel size or bigger. To be fair I hear about this with lizards and tortoises and am assuming its the same for snakes. Either way, don't feed the snake on the substrate, use a plate or bowl. And don't feed live as rodents are meaner than snakes.

Sylvias, do Kings need a winter shut-down period? If so, what what would you suggest for a tropical keeper? The fridge?
Sorry about poisonous vs venomous oversight.
