Its a shame those fish were probably killed. Is sturgeon a desirable fish for food or just trophy?

yup,, they were infact from Beverly's. They had 3 when I went, I picked up two of them. I had a lot of bad luck with sturgeons before,, but they were much smaller,, this will be my last try at them,, hopefully I will get lucky. So lizardfishman, where in south FL are u ? I am just east of 75 on miramar.

Nope those are still alive. Killing a turgeon that size is definitely jail time. That size is catch and release.
