A manmade park is NOT the same as a private lake... DO NOT release that fish, either kill it or keep it, its not worth the risk. And next time, think before you just bring a random fish home.

Well that does kind of go against the "permission from the owner" thing.

You would have to contact whoever oversees the pond in that park to know if it's ok. They may not want fish released into it depending on what they stock.
And you risk introducing parasites or pathogens from your tropical fish into the pond, which could cause the park service issues with that pond if the fish they stock end up sick.

I dont have time to reed all this but its Lepomis macrochirus X Lepomis gibbosus. Aka bluegill x pumpkinseed

Attention: Didn't do it yet but will do it in a bucket so poison the fish freeze it cut it open and look in it and then bait it for bigger fish :l
Horribly kid I know :D

If Theres pumpkinseed in that pond so imma catch a small one and bring it home :D
Won't be unplanned ;)

So you caught this one took it home.. your FH is attacking it?
What makes you think it wont attack the other one you bring into the tank?
I'm not trying to be rude but I agree with a lot of people here.
If you didn't plan on really keeping it, why did you bring it home?
