painted turtle i have one. kids next door found it and knew i had turtles and thought maybe it was mine. So just kept him. One is a red eared slyder one is common painted turtle for ohio anyways. that one is deff not a box turtle they are a terrestrial turtle maybe a musk or something idk i didn't get a good look at it and that background is AMAZING!! how did you make it and do you think you could do a few to sell em i would buy a couple of them

It's a painted turtle, 100% sure. It's hard to tell with the lighting in that vid, but I think its an eastern painted. Could be a western painted, but prolly eastern. check the link:

It's perfectly fine for algae to be on it's shell... it will not hurt anything.

It's an eastern for sure. If you want, use a soft bristled brush to remove excess algae (you will never get it all off, trust me) but you don't have to, it is for aesthetic purposes only and it is perfectly okay to have your turtle rockin a lime green afro (it is when your son has that hairdo that you need to worry).
