too late, but good choice... they max out at about 13" if female, half that if they are male i do beleave...

and u wll need to change your light and provide an above water basking spot for them...

well if it is a female and gets that big it can go in the pond we are building next spring.

Did you say you were keeping it with clown loaches? Not the best idea if you like those fish. That turtle will kill them in no time.

i put the clown loaches in a 20l i had because they were about to get killed in my other tank. ill take them to the store if i have to.

I have sliders now for almost 3 years from a large tank to a pond. they are 10-11"! They grow big and need more room than most people have.
