It does look Vieja (AKA Paraneetroplus) but as to which species of Vieja, I can't tell.
The term Vieja is the Spanish word for old women, what they are locally called in many new world areas.

Its a pink fenestratus just starting to peel.

I would say red head ! or hybrid of some kind. regardless it will be a nice fish in time

The local wholesaler for MA NH area had pink fenestratus recently and also put them on special with others and sold them as assorted viejas.
I have a group of six of them and they look the same. They are not hybrids they came right from lake Cametco(spelling)??
