A little update on this guy. He is looking way better already and seems very happy. Anyone have a better idea yet what he could be? He's starting to look pretty awesome. Will be interesting to see how he looks in a few months from now

Without trying to sound like a broken record,veija x of unknown origin.
Yes it looks a little like a biffa and it looks a little like a melanura. Without knowing it's history there is no way of knowing what it's made up of.
 
Looks like a biffa but as Darren said with out provenance you can never be 100% sure.
Still a nice looking fish.
