This is mala aka sp iguaza from Argentina. Which means it's a bigger mala. How big is a good question? Bigger than 20 inches...likely. Based on jaw folds its mala but the hump, atypical herring bone pattern and green eyes suggest a bit different. Hence now the sp iguaza we on the forum call it.

I would say yes cause it's not a regular import you'll find at ur lfs. This is a very select few finds in the hobby. This is form Argentina I suspect.

Plus for me price is not an issue if it's a fish I want. Just got a make sure I got a tank for it.

It's debateable. But get it and grow it out. If u get a 20 plus inch monster then we will all know.

I have the worst luck ordering fish. I order this awesome wolf and ups discarded the package. Second time this has happened to me and I have only order fish three times.

They discarded the package? How does that happen?! I'm surprised about.

Iguazas have been more popular in Europe then over here. Liam has personally seen 30"ers.

The wolf complex is screwed. And I personally think the whole jaw line thing is debatable.

Calling an Iguaza a Mala is the same as calling an Aimara a black wolf. Night and day difference in max size.
