Saw someone trying to ID this fish on another forum without much luck but I am really starting to like the way this thing looks, any idea what it is?

i dont know what it is but it looks kinda like a cichlid

There are dozens of cichlids that have been introduced into hawaii, some are aldino or leucistic strains, at a glance it looks like a severum or even a convict to me but I suck at cichlids.

Colors do look similar to Gold Serverum - both shape does not match a Severum nor a Convict.
