100 bucks its not a tarpon. osariichthys sp. it is or fish in that complex,

Trying to search for relevant pictures, but I cannot find any info on osariichthys, maybe a spelling error?

Ok, the last 2 pics in your clearance thread look VERY similar. Could be the same fish based on the frontal shots..... it seems like mine is a bit taller, maybe not.

Deff not tarpon there mouth is very unique.

tarpon get the shape in tht pic as they get bigger though look more like what he has in the pic.......... but i agree tht its not a tarpon

Theres a tarpon at the LFS 4-5" with that mouth. Its genetic not developed over time.
