ID?

This guy was previously ID'd (in here) as a gymnogeophagus balzanii. I'm trying to sell him, and jworth brought up that he didn't think it looked like a balzanii, more like a robertsoni....

anyone want to chip in and let me know what the heck it is? And whatever it is, whats a good price?

Looks geo-ish to me. I dont think robertsoni have that red by the gills and that has less vertical stripes than one as well. Im no expert though...

your right... that pic of the adult Robertsoni does look quite different. It does look geo-ish but not Balzanii.

that is what I thought when I said Robertsoni. It looks more like an Astatheros than it does Geophagus.
 
Bingo... Thats exactly what it is. Conner, that is an Astatheros Altifrons. The blotch on the stomach and red on the gills gave it away (i looked it up). $10-15 is still a good price on it. Not terribly common but not rare by any means.
