They call them freshwater in stores sometimes but this guy is definitely brackish. There've been other posts about the true freshwater version of this fish, and it looks different. They can survive in FW for a while but it's not great for them.

Bro, keeping this cutie.. pls be cautious. Do not handle with bare hands. Its poisonous... it may not kill you but its worst than rays.
