by the markings on it. its patterns are almost the same as a red dragon. and also the spots on its dorsal fin tells us tht it's a female.

this is a high quality red dragon flowerhorn (google images). can u see the differnce? the patterns are almost the same. but i assure u tht it's a zz.

I suppose, lol. It was sold to me as a kamfa but after research it looks nothing like that. She just got the red on her "throat" recently. And she's very purple.

soo, maybe an inexperienced fish seller. ive been through tht. hahah they assumed tht it is a red monkey flowerhorn but it was not, it was actually a red devil cichlid. :L
ok, keep in touch in this forum and post the pics of ure fish in a month or two so tht we can see wht ure fish really looks like.

looking good. cant tell man, but it seems tht it will as u mentioned tht it's getting darker. but im not sure. just keep observing.
