[Quo Vadis]

My LFS has a group of these fish, that owner says someone brought in but that he doesn't know what they are. I think I know, but I wanted other opinions.

Looks like a texas. Are they all the same fish in one tank as at the bottom of the pic I see a jack dempsey.

Yeah there are JDs in the tank too. I have been thinking Texas, but they have been there for awhile and for the longest time I thought they were some type of Amphilophus. But then they started to pearl. Is it normal for them to pearl so late? I thought I'd seen much smaller Texas with pearls before. The most pearly one is the one in the pic, most the other only have a little pearling and they are about 4 inches.
