Darienoheros calobrensis (they were removed from the genus Amphilophus by Rican and Oldrich in their 2016 paper " Diversity and Evolution of the Middle American Cichlid Fishes" after DNA and other testing split off a number of species from old generic groupings, and were individual enough to be given their own separate genus, much like Cincelichthys bocourti and Pearce former Herichthyines)) (your LFS probably hasn't kept up with modern scientific terminology revisions)
Calobrensis is from an area in the eastern Veraguas region of Panama west into the Darien (hence the name).
The areas are known for its clear, pristine rivers and lakes
This is to me, one of the holy grail species. I tried to get it for years in the U.S. but it was never available, so congratulations, quite the coup.
Males are said to be hard on females is small tanks.
