View attachment 1482905 looks like a schoolmaster snapper. Hard to say for sure with the dark picture

Should not be this, cause the fish to be ID is a fish locally found in or along the coasts of India. Cause the pic is from a guy who deals in native fish species. He is an exporter, exports indian fish species to other countries.

Fish doesn't match up with any of the Indian snapper species to my knowledge. Maybe you should ask the guy who post it. If you say it's a native fish he should know what it is.
