One of the last times the term cherry red appears to have been used it was to sell a dyed red silver arrowana. Other than that the cherry red arrowana are not coloured silvers, they are Asian arrowana. I have not heard of them starting to “create” Color morphs of silver arrowana yet but to me this just looks like a young silver with slightly red tints in its scales which some have and others don’t have as prominent and which they very often lose as they grow/age.
Mine in the pond at 18” now looks very blue from above but it’s still a normal silver arrowana.
