idea for my drip sytem

heres the idea tell me what you think
first i will set up my drip sytem as read on mfk
but instead of wasting the water or sending it to sewage world
my idea is to set up a holding tank under the house and putting a sump pump in it then plumbing that to a pressure tank that then is plumbed to all my toilets in my house
this way i am not wasting water as water in my town is expensive

i pay $125 a month for water and sewage

i have three tanks a 180 a 75 and a 55 and soon to be somthing bigger atleast a 265
so water changes suck

if i have to i will mount another sump pump higher up just incase of overflow
any thoughts
do you all think this is feasable

That sounds like a good idea, but I would even put a drain in the holding tank incase you get constipated.

Also think about if the holding tank runs out of water. It may be good to put a float valve in the holding tank so that if it gets low regular water will fill the tank, and also put a drain at the top incase you get too much.

does that make sense?
 
thats why i what to put a sump pump in there
the ones with the built in float valves
plus for overflow i thought i would put a second one higher up that would discharge straight to sewage world

what's it going to pump when the water gets too low?

i suck at drawing
but if water gets low it should not have to pump at all the pressure tank will hold atleast 20 -30 gallons depending on size of tank
think of it like a well for the toilet
same concept as having a well just using fish tank water

and if the well runs dry?
Do you have it switch to normal water, or can you hook the well to normal water to automatically refill.
 
let say i am driping 48 gallons per day into my tanks
1gph in the 180
.5 gph in the 75
.5 gph in the 75
i would have to flush the toilet about 14 times a day to run out of water in the well

after a hard night of drinking thats not entirely impossible. I mean, what if you get the drunken snackeys and eat white castle or something?

i was just thinking about a refill valve but if i add a 265 to the equation then mute point
what other reason do i need

thats the best reason to get a 265!
