idea to get rid of snakeheads

i was thinkin of ways to eradicate them and this is what i came up with.

how abt having a month long, on-going fishing tournament for SH?
-no catrh limit
-no size limit
-no tackle limit
-daily winners (person who catches the most that day)
-weekly winners (person who is in the lead at the end of that week)
-over all winner at the end of the month.

weight and/or quantity should determine the winners.

this tournament could be held every month w/ no entry fees and u can join in when ever u want.

so what do u think?

That's a really good question! Another question would be what is the record size for a C. argus? The reports i have been reading "media propaganda" 1st said something like the SH reaches something like 30" and now they have blown it up to 40" . I'm not sure what the biggest one caught is but every report claims a larger adult size than the previous one. Not to say that they are the sizes being caught just that , that is the adult size for the fish. Basically just to put everybody into a tizzy, and to get out there and "KILL THOSE EVIL BASTARDS". !

I dont agree with introducing any non native species to an ecosystem, we have had far more ecological disasters in here in Australia from misguided attempts to introduce animals for a certain purpose, and these have been by so called experts - not just some clueless hobbyist letting their pet lose.

Who would think a cane toad could save anything.
