I like the look of Jaguar catfish, but they hide a lot. Maybe a synodontis?

try and find some smaller eclipse cats round ??? if u like them and wanna get 1

You can have 2 JDs in a 75. You can have 3 in a 90.Well now that you don't have you Oscar you could possibly do a medium sized catfish in with the JDS in a 120.

If you like channels look at yellow bullheads instead. Technically the can get bigger than you want but they rarely do

If he chooses to make a responsible decision he will have to put the catfish he gets with 3 JDs in the 120. So maybe you could suggest some 5-6 inch catfish that will get along with JDs.

Ya so I went to petsmart and I see a sign 50% off all sharks, loaches, platies, mollies, and knives and I see the eclipse catfish for like $3 so I tell the girl to get one and as she is getting it I walk over to the other tanks and pick up some platies and I didn't even look at the catfish really all I looked at was the whiskers and I look and it's a Colombian shark! I was like WTF and I went and told her I don't have a setup for it and no saltwater and she said that if it dies she will give me a replacement catfish of whatever I want lol she is the one I always talk to so we are friends I guess. And so then I decide to take it home and just put it in the 15 for now until it grows any bigger and the 15 I'm making into a brackish tank for now and she said if I grow it out to like 6" she will take it in for store credit because she knew I didn't have the tank for it. but anyways I now have a 2" Colombian shark until its larger then I'll get a couple other fish in trade for it. I also picked up some really pregnant platies to feed their babies to all my fish and turtles. But anyways I now have a Colombian in a 15 gallon brackish tank setup highly planted and it is doing really good so far and it ate one of the ghost shrimp I had!
