Idea's ......... Anyone got any ?

So here it is guy's !

My Dad just give me his 29gal tank with stand, hood, Filter and lighting and i had ideas for getting it planted and keeping some discus with some cory's and tetras but i'm slowly going off the idea or should i say i can't make up my mind what i want to put in the tank ! So i was wondering if any of you MFKERS could help me with some ideas of your own. Or if you currently own a 29gal and have done something pretty spectacular with it and feel like sharing some pic's with me that would be great maybe i could get ideas from looking at some of your tanks.

My friend has a heavily planted tank with two Angle fish and a bunch of tetras it looks really nice, not sure if they will be okay in the size tank though cuse I know they get big but never owned them. Discus are always nice but hard to maintain, or at least I think they are, but if you have the time then It would look really nice. I always like Rams in a mix with a planted tank but they stay pretty small. Some of the smaller cichlids would also look nice (ones that max out at 5 inches) I dunno just some thoughts.

Do a butt load of guppies, grow 'em out as feeders to treat your monsters

Personally I think that a 29 gallon is too small for a pair of Discus. If I had a free 29 gallon I would definitely get a pair of Angelfish, about 10 Neon Tetras, and invest money into a good light system and put up a heavy planted tank.

African Cichlid with bunch of shell dwellers sounds awesome too.

Thought about doing this to my 29 gallon.
1.Make it heavily really heavily planted
2.Put a some driftwood in the tank
3.add some egglites
