If you go for a tegu, a blue would do better with those dimension since they stay smaller.

Man those guys are amazing I think I’m def going to be looking into these guys at least for one in the near future.

I’m kind of thinking of keeping the big tank up and going for my cats if I decide to keep them, but how would one of these guys do in a tank that 7x2x2?

you can do a northern American frog setup. you could put a bull frog or two, some green frogs, maybe a leopard frog or two. then like 5 wood frogs. make it 1/2 land and 1/2 water. then you can put some fish in the water too.

what about some oddballs like a caiman lizard (not a caiman but the Dracaena sp)? you could also do several monitors in that tank for life and what about some green plumed basilisks? Or better yet, a sailfin dragon.
