ideas for 5 ft tank?

ideas for a 5 ft tank? freshwater wanting pleco and other unique sorta fish.

ahh i like catfish and that sorta thing unique things eels umm im not really sure. i cant buy arros where i am, umm its about 45cm high. was thinking plecos and maybe some barra or something idk o and a spiny eel.

I'd stay away from the Barra, they grow too big too quickly for that tank unless you can rehouse them in a larger tank / pond later on. You could stock it with Plecos, Gudgeons, smaller perch species like the Mouth Almighty, Rainbowfish, maybe even some Pictus catfish, or even Eeltail catfish. There are loads of options, just depends on what you like.

i like eels idea. fire or tiretrack would be ok. thy will eat any small fish though. as for plecos you have a few choices with that too. i also suggest some of the smaler catfish, pimolodus (sp?), 4 line...ect.

Spiny eels are very cool but both fire and tt will outgrow a 5ft tank, try a macrognathus speciesor if you can find it mastacembelus sp. giant borneo python is great and a very attractive fish
