Ideas for 55g office waiting room tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ya red zebras instead of yellow labs would be cooler imo but saltwater would be cool with a single porcupine puffer it would be good personality and color if you get the yellow type but theyre some of my fav fish

no salt, were gone on the weekends too much to worry about. African community may be a good idea. I might dump in my africans from home. They are getting boring ever since I got my 125g. I want to redo my 45g tall at home with some angels/ community fish.

The first thing that came to my mind was mbuna too. With some white sand and some nice white rock it would be nice.

If you wanted to do something new world, maybe some black sand and some nice apistos or rams.

One thing is for sure, Mbuna are never boring

My 55 has an Angel pair, Bolivian Rams, Cardinal tetras, Flame tetras, panda corys (would nix if i could go back in time) and a bushynose pleco.

EVERYONE who comes to my house immediately gasps and asks what kind of Angelfish they are because they didn't know they got that big. People seem to be fascinated by them. They like the Rams because most have never seen them, and the Cardinals because everyone used to have neons;) The albino bushynose is my 3 year old sons, and well he is a conversational peice because he is so ...umm...ugly lol. The Angel spawning is usually pretty interesting to people too. Don't get too many comments on the flame tetras, except that they are pretty..and the catfish don't come out too often but when they do people like how playful they are.

Also, people like the plants and the driftwood- I guess you don't see too many live plants in aquariums.

i think that you should forgo the live plants, because you are likely going to spend too much time playing with the tank and not enough time working( and making money). you need a tank with hardy fish that look pretty. i'd avoid too much stock.

so, how about a pair of convicts, or salvini or some other easy attractive c/a fish raising babies?
