I just got a 125 gallon aquarium and I would like to just put one big predatory fish in it. I would like something that gets big, is active and aggressive, has an attractive color and/or pattern, and isn't terribly common among fish owners. Arrowanas grab my attention, but everybody has them. I would like something a little more rare. Any ideas?? :)

Buttikoferi very predatory and are the most fun cichlid to watch during feeding especially with live food IMHO

Male Festae, or Midas, or Trimac would be my suggestions.

Or try to do a breeding pair of Festae.

Yea, a pair of festae would be awesome. Or midas like my old one in my avator was cool to keep. Trimacs are pretty hard to find a true bloodline. Honestly their colors aren't the greatest imo.
