Thinking of building an indoor pond for a shovelnose cat that is getting to big for the 185 Gallon tank. Any suggestions?
I am thinking about 350 to 450 Gallons. Maybe 2' deep.

Make the walls tall, you never know.

Building a indoor pool is easy but I would go to the added work of building a large aquarium.Heating a large open pond is expensive , can cause mold problems, and in a aquarium you can enjoy seeing your cat from the side.I would leave open indoor ponds to fish that can be kept at room temperature.

ya build a huge aquarium

veiwing catfish in a pond is really pretty nice. You could also use a huge stock tub from a farm store (like rottbo)

build a pond with just a viewing pice. so its a mix of both worlds

go big and make sure he cant jump out and that the walls can hold that water pressure you dont want that s**t to explode all over ur sloor

you can go to a 300g acrylic tank for the same money as a 300g pond so definitly go with the tank it is sooo much less maintenance. now at 1000g or more a pond is way cheaper

Agree.

The stock ponds are pretty cool.
