I was thinking about the giant communtiy tank idea also but the price on those fish (in my opinion) would be insane. 50 neon tetras would be about $100, some guarmis would be about $50, verious cories would be $50 and a small school of angels would cost $50 then a couple random fish and I would be at around $300 in fish alone. And yes, I realize stingrays and discuses cost a fortune also but they are why cool in my opinion.
This is probably a stupid question but dicus are really gentle fish that would never harm another so why is it you never see them in community tank? Temp? Water quality?
