Hello I looking for ideas on stocking a 120 gallon fish tank. I would like to fill it with cichlids. I would like them to be active and colorful. I have a Oscar in my other tank and it is awesome but it bugs me how much wasted space there is in the tank. So I would like to get a bunch of cichlids that can live together happily. If someone has a cichlid tank and would give me there stock list and maybe some pictures that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

How about
1 blue acara
1 firemouth
1 severum (red, gold, green, rotkeil ect. Your choice.)
1 Green terror
And 1 Hrp.

Then add a school of dithers for constant movement.

Thanks for the suggestion. That sounds like a nice tank. I would like to hear some other stocking ideas so keep them coming! And how about the electric blue cichlids and electric yellow cichlids? I like those too

If you want a bunch of active, colorful fish, Africans may be a good choice. They aren't very owner responsive like Oscars and many other New World Cichlids though.

If you don't like "wasted space" then why don't you go with African cichlids and smaller ones like yellow labs but they aren't as friendly and awesome as new world cichlids imo

Or a smaller variety of new worlds like firemouths the stocking list electricblueseanburch said is good if you want new world cichlids
