Here's the situation:

I have 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, 1 Dragon Sand Sifter Goby, and a Lawnmower Blenny.

Inverts are an Emerald Crab, Sally Light Foot, and multiple hermits and snails...

As you can see I have a lot of bottom dwellers, and I'm not really in any need of more for the moment. What I was asking for is recommendations for the tank for fish that will swim in the middle and near the top of the tank. Inverts would also be a welcome suggestion. Already found out earlier triggers are a no. What kind of tangs might I be able to get?

just to make sure we are talking salt water right? i would go with some of those cheap damsels? the kind you can get at the LFS that are like 6 for 20. That would be the best way to fill up the swiming room. I like tanks that look FULL.

Yes it's salt, I have a fresh and saltwater. I am much more experienced in freshwater, just getting into salt for the past 6-7 months or so.

Not a fan of the damsels, had some of the same species for awhile and they just tore eachother up. I don't mind only having a few more fish so long as they are interesting.

Scopas tangs stay pretty small and will swim all over and are active. Mine has really good personality and is constantly picking over the rocks.

Why not add a dwarf angle and the tang. I personally like the flame angels, lemonpeel angels, bi-colors, and coral of beautys. I don't have a pick of a scopas tang, but i can describe it. It has pretty much the same body as a yellow tang, but it is a brown and yellow color through out the body. there's one at my LFS right now who's almost solid yellow in the front and kind of fades to solid brown at the back. cool looking fish, swims all the time.

+1 Dip

I think this would be your best bet for adding some color and movement to the tank. Any of one the ones listed would work imo based on what you like. Just know that the flame angels are probably the most aggressive of that bunch.

As for tangs, you will need to choose something that stays relatively small. A Scopas, Yellow, Kole, or Bristletooth would all be good choices.

If you want something a little more challenging, a Powder Blue or Powder Brown would work.

A Purple Tang would be a more rare and expensive choice. They are quite hardy as long as you give them a good varied diet.

I'm thinking a Kole Tang, I saw one recently at my LFS but didn't know what size tank it would need.

I'm guessing a blue tang wouldn't work (I didn't really want a Finding Nemo theme anyways lol... the Mrs. you see.)
