I'm thinking a Kole Tang, I saw one recently at my LFS but didn't know what size tank it would need.

I'm guessing a blue tang wouldn't work (I didn't really want a Finding Nemo theme anyways lol... the Mrs. you see.)

Ya, long term you could not keep a Blue Hippo Tang. Realistically keeping any tang for its whole life in a 75 is a little small, but will be ok for the smallest specimens.

The other option you have is to buy a Blue Hippo small (wouldn't go under 2 inches, too fragile) and keep it until it outgrows the tank(something like 6 inches max). When it does you could sell or trade it towards another fish.

Do you have any pictures of yours?

Here is mine with my chocolate tang and one of my PJ cardinals. Clicking on it will make it alot bigger so you can see the details. Its got alot of really nice little markings that most people dont notice but I really like. There are a few more pics in my thread about my 72.

The chocolate tang is another very underrated fish in my opinion. Not even a little shy and eats out of my hand. I also really like the adult coloration.

Great photo!

I have to agree, the chocolate is a really cool looking fish.

Most blues dont get over 8-10 inches, which makes them a smaller tang, but they have the potential for more.

I like to tell people that 90-120 is the minimum size for any one tang... but 75 is doable... I have a blue that is going in my 6' tank that is in my 75g now.
