I agree about not mixing the fronts, they are carnavore and most mbuna are not, thembuna will likely get malawi bloat. I would add tons of rock and do a big mbuna tank or your other option is to do a all male hap and peacock tank. Those are gorgeous. Very active and colorful. You can also usually mix species from different lakes if they have similar dietary needs. If you like the looks of the frontosa with the hump on the head and blue colors try a all hap tank and get blue dolphins (c. moori) toss in some borleyi and some venustus and some larger peacock species like red empress and you will have a show stopper tank. You will want all male tank cause the females are usually drab, silver with black markings or browns. Plus the males will fight over any single female in the tank. so if you get juvies pull out any females when they get bigger. You can tell because males will often have female colors as a juvie then morph to male coloration as they grow. females will stay the same color and never change. Just my two cents.
