i have a 29 gal auquarium a fillter rocks plants a heater and a tank light does anybody have any ideas of good fish to breed oh yah and i have 2 10gal tanks. thanks:FIREdevil

Some of the rarer and smaller Cryptoheros, such as C. altoflavus, C. cutteri, C. septemfasciatus, C. myrnae, etc. would be fine in a 29g for life. Etroplus maculatus (Orange Chromide) is another good option; but may require brackish water to breed. If you're looking for ease, get Kribs (Pelvicachromis pulcher) or Convicts (Cryptoheros nigrofasciatus).

Sorry, I love scientific names. :D

thanks does anyone have more ideas

any fish i can sell to make some $ yes fast i am a breeder p.s. keep your answers short and simple

Review the older threads. One individual posted trying to make money as well, and was going to devote much more resources into the project. There is no make money quick scheme with such a small set up. Best I can recommend is Looking into buying pregnant livebearers and raise their fry for a little money.

And no, you're not a breeder.

can u show me some care sheets of kribs andyellow labs and what are livebearers?

The easiest way to recover some cost right now, is either a, extremely rare/expensive fish, or inverts and plants. There are several freshwater inverts that will make quite a bit of money. This year I have made over $600 in snail sales, and over $1000 in plants. The snails have only been selling since march. However, finding what is needed in your area's market is the most essential thing. My ramshorns are bigger, and cheaper than most others in the northwest, and as such I can sell off huge amounts.

how AM I SUPOSED TO KNOW IM ASKING YOU

Livebearers are Guppies, Swordtails, Mollies and Platy's. These fish produce fry every 4-6 weeks depending on the species. The fry emerge LIVE. Only small broods of 30-50 is common. Large mature guppies have been known to crack 100 fry before. These fish do not really make you money. More or less consume it. There isnt much you can do in a 29G thats worth a bit except for shelldwellers, small oddballs etc. Many Pelvicachromis (Krib) species sell well.
