Identification of this Serra

It is definately a serrasalmus rhombeus!!! i should kno az i have 1 lol mine looks exactly the same..use google or another search engine and search for the fish...all the images are the same!!

personaly I am sliding closer to a serrasalmus brantii..

age and size of the fish will give me more information to give you a better ID
 
I kind of think your LFS is right, although it could be a Sanchezi.
 
I've been trying to get a good pic of my elong to post here.. I'm going to be deterimed tonight to get one and post pics tomorrow.
 
almost impossible to tell with that photo.. do you have different angles or a clearer picture? from that angle, and photo quality i would say a spilo
